Youth Savings Account
Delta County Federal Credit Union understands that youth are our future, and for that reason we focus on providing young savers with the tools necessary to become successful money managers.
Youth Savings Accounts are set up as joint ownership with an adult and remain in the “youth” category until the owner reaches the age of 18, at which point the account transitions to a regular account.

Youth Share Certificate
Delta County Federal Credit Union offers a three month Youth Share Certificate. Our Youth Certificates have a $250 opening balance and offer a higher yield than our standard Share Certificates. Dividends are paid at maturity.

Student Loans
Delta County Federal Credit Union has partnered with SLM Corporation, more commonly known as Sallie Mae, to offer student loans to our members. Loans offered through Sallie Mae are not underwritten or serviced by Delta County Federal Credit Union.
Sallie Mae offers student loans catering a variety of educational needs and plans. Loans offer competitive Interest rates, no origination fee or pre-payment penalties, and multiple repayment options. Sallie Mae loans are considered private loans, not federal loans.
Undergraduate Student Loans – for those seeking Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degrees
Parent Loans – for parents taking on financial responsibility for an education loan.
Graduate Student Loans – can fund schooling expenses for advanced degrees, including associated expenses. Specialized loans offered for:
- MBA (Master of Business Administration)
- Medical School
- Dental School
- Health Professions Graduate
- Law School
- Graduate School Loan
